After 45 years working at GB Motors George has decided to close his workshop for the last time and join the team at Youngs Garage. George has seen and done it all when it comes to working on cars. For the last 30 years George has earned an enviable reputation for restoring and servicing Classic cars and in particular the MG range of cars. George brings a wealth of knowledge to the garage.

Nitrogen in Tyres June 2010

Youngs Garage Tealby Ltd has recently installed a nitrogen tyre filling machine to provide improved economy for you the motorist. Ask about it next time you pop in. All tyres supplied by Youngs Garage to customers will be supplied nitrogen filled. You can start getting the benefits of nitrogen in your tyres now by bringing your car to us. We will remove the air from your tyres and replace with nitrogen. Your tyres will last longer as they will run at the correct pressure, no more oxidation of the wheel rim leading to air leaks on the tyres. Tyres run at the correct pressure last longer, perform better and use less fuel. At only £ 2.00 per tyre for the initial fill and free top ups thereafter as long as you have the tyre it makes sense to start saving money now. Doing 10,000 miles per year you can expect to start saving money after only 8 weeks on tyre life and fuel saving. What have you got to lose ?

Just had some new tyres fitted ?

A simple tracking check only checks the position of the front tyres relative to one another.

A 4 Wheel alignment check will check the position and angle of all 4 wheels relative to one another and identify Castor and camber faults from misaligned suspension.

Remember the vehicle doesn't have to have been in a major accident to have misaligned steering or suspension geometry.

Fuel Petrol and Diesel Sales

Fuel Sales and Price. We aim to be very competitive with all independent garages in a 10 mile radius. We cannot compete with Tesco's in Market Rasen. We do however stay close in price and believe what you can save driving from Tealby to Tesco's (around £ 1.20 for 50 litres) can be offset with the fuel, wear and tear used to drive to Tesco's. Many of our customers report that there vehicle runs better with our fuel and delivers an improvement in MPG. Don't take our word for it why not try us and see !!

Remember if you don't use a local service it won't be there when you need it !!

We don't charge our customers for Air and our female customers often appreciate our "Served fuel service".

Drinks and Snacks

As part of our continued improvement program we introduced Drinks and snack sales in June. We are currently evaluating what sells and what doesn't although the mechanics are currently amongst our most regular customers. Again check out our prices. (We definitely match or beat the Tesco garage here) !
